Czirók, Györgyi

She was born in Szombathely in 1966 in a family of musicians. She started to learn the violin in hew native town and continued it from 1982 onwards in the Béla Bartók Music School of Budapest. Both here and at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, the next stop of her musical carrer, her teacher was Ferenc Halász. Having obtained her diploma, she became member of the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra. Since 1997 she has been member of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Ms.Czirók plays regularly in the Concerto Armonico Chamber Orchestra. She is married, mother of three children.
