Molnár, Noémi

She was born in 1976 in Miskolc. She studied the violin at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music in Miskolc, than she was admitted to the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, from where she graduated in 1999 as the student of Eszter Perényi, Márta Gulyás and Sándor Devich. She was awarded a Special Prize at the Zathuretzky-Memorial Competition. After that she pursued postgraduate studies in Saarbrücken, under Joshua Epstein, where she graduated in 2001. She participated in the master classes of Dénes Zsigmondy, Vilmos Szabadi, Márta Gulyás, Günter Pichler and Norbert Brainin. As of 2001 she has regularly participated in the concerts of the Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orchestra and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
